Christina joined the team at Center for Learning in the Fall of 2003 after receiving her Multiple Subject Credential and Master’s Degree in Education from the University of California, Irvine. Little did she know that she embarked on this journey with C4L as an educational therapist, it would open up the doors to so much more. She loves the challenge of working with different-aged students and different content areas, being a teacher and mentor to her students and the partnerships with administrators and teachers on the campuses she works on. Christina believes that it’s important for kids to become empowered individuals who have confidence in their abilities and their possibilities. Her passion for students, and her dedication to C4L, have led her to hold various roles within C4L – educational therapist, program coordinator at various private schools, and Director of Educational Therapy. As a lifelong learner, Christina strives to continue professional growth for herself, as well as the entire educational therapy department staff. Her ability to relate to students, families, and colleagues has made her an invaluable member of the C4L team.
Christina is married and has one daughter. She enjoys traveling and the great outdoors. You may see her hiking through a river, backpacking through the wilderness, or even catching a plane to a bucket list destination.
