Biography

Laila Contractor, M.D. is a certified Integrative Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Contractor loves the affiliation with Center for Learning as it gives her the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team of neuropsychologists, education therapists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.  Dr. Contractor believes in a collaborative care approach and has always worked this way in a treatment team where everyone gives their input to provide the best treatment plan to address the root causes of the challenges families are facing.  She specializes in using evidenced-based, holistic treatments as well as cutting-edge psychiatrist to maximize wellness in her patients.  Dr. Contractor also teaches and does an Integrative Psychiatry lecture series at Cambridge Health Alliance, affiliated with Harvard University. Dr. Contractor previously started and was the medical director for an Intensive Outpatient Program and a trauma treatment program.
